My vision for Pigeon Party is: a club where members are active participants--learning with/from each other, teaching, sharing and creating. A crafting group crossed with a free school. My vision of most Stitch 'n' Bitch type groups is showing up with whatever project you happen to be working on and crafting in someone else's living room instead of your own. I'd like to be part of something a little more unified than that. I envision getting together every other week to all learn a) a cool new recipe, b) how to cross stitch/make a dress/silk screen, or c) learning basic bike maintenance, etc. It's about building community while learning valuable new skills, becoming more sustainable, creating something beautiful and fun, teaching, participating and having a good time.
